Welcome to the Clonewheel wiki. Since Yahoo offered a free wiki, I thought I'd give it a try and see if it helped solve some of the problems we encounter in the group. Specifically, the ability to link directly to information and make comments, even edit information, may be helpful to everyone in the group. |  |
Contributting and editing pages
Note that many pages have not been completed or even started. Everyone can help out here. Info on editing pages can be found below.
I appreciate everyone's effort. To keep things functioning, easier to navigate and helpful to everyone, please follow these guidelines.
* If you're going to add a new page, use a name that would make sense in a sentence, so it can be linked to.
* Create your link by editing the page that refers to it first. That link will be underlined in red, then when you click on it, you'll see a blank page. Select "edit page" and create your page.
* Put the name of the page first, using the bang ('!') character, followed by a space, and the name of page. This helps everyone to understand the basic topic and purpose of that page. For example:

on this page, at the top, lets people know they've landed on the home page that belongs to the clonewheel group.
* Please get your facts correct. If you're not sure on something, make a statement to that effect - "I'm not sure when the MIDI spec came out, I think it was 1983 or maybe 1982". Someone else will edit and get things correct.
* when posting images, use small files and small images. Use external links whenever possible.
