The Motion Sound LP-120 is used in conjunction with the Pro-3t upper rotating horn speaker system (as shown in the picture). It is configured from the factory to simulate a Leslie Model 147 speaker system. A compact an easy to transport package, together they produce a full range rotating speaker sound. Though this product is no longer manufactured by Motion Sound, it is still quite popular with musicians today but is difficult to find.
Below is the rear view of a PRO-3t hooked up to the LP-120 using a standard 5 Pin MIDI cable and AC power cable. Rotor speed adjustments are made via the four trim pots located near the volume control on the rear of the LP-120. The cabinet combination shown here has the traditional tolex-like finish and black cabinet corners. Before ending production, all cabinets were manufactured with a sprayed on gray-black coating as shown in the above picture.
